--- death of Mrs Sophia Fairbairn,  one of the ealry residents of Kirwee. --was born at Norfolk,  Tasmania in 1856  married to Mr Robert Fairbairn
in 1879 ---came to NZ a few weeks later and made their home in Kirwee. ------  her husband died 19 years ago,  survived by 2 sons - ----- 
 4 daughters - --------     15 grandchildren,  11 great grandchildren -----

Anglican Church ---   buried in old family plot in Barbadoes street Cemetery  ---  survived by husband, 2 sons and 1 daughter  ------

--Mr Robert Simpson  ---   Mr Simpson  was born at Ballarat,  Victoria  ---  in 1856  came to New Zealand   --when a young man ----   in 1886
 he returned to Australia   ---a few years later returned to new Zealand   ---- he retired in 1921 ----   survived by his sister Mrs G.B. West, (Melbourne)

 --- later 1st Master at Auckland Grammar school --- ordained as deacon in 1886  as a priest in 1888  ---------   married Miss Sarah  Elizabeth
BROWN  daughter of Mr John Brown  of Limerick  Ireland  in 1890  she died in 1930  survived by 3 daughters  and 2 sons  ------ 
14 grandchildren ---    Mr Tobin's twin brother Colonel F.J.Tobin  D.S.O  lives in Devonshire.

by the Admiralty ----   survived by his widow and 1 son.  and 2 daughters Misses Huia and Tui White-Parsons.
