the body of a year old female child was found on the beach at Brown's Island, Auckland.

Pahiatua  -  McLEAN,  GUNTHER   -  02
a rake upset at Makuri,  and the driver named Mclean had a leg broken and a boy named Gunther,  13 years old, who was with him,  was so injured, he died in hospital.

MOORE  - a man named T.P. Moore, a bootmaker ----  met with a bicycle accident ----  Moore was thrown to the ground ---

  - 05  -  Mr Cornish,  for many years propietor of the Terminus Hotel,  died yesterday, after a protracted illness.
HERDMAN  -  06 -    2yr old daughter of Mrs Herdman of Petone,  died in hospital from burns ---------

LYONS
- John Lyons  a tramway company employee  -----  fell a distance of 15ft.  ---led to his death.  He was 42 years old and left a wife and 4 children.

-  Edward Hawkins,  aged about 52,  employed at Waimarama Station,  died ---

WRIGHT 
- a bushman named Peter Wright was out boating  with 5 others on Lake Brunner ----- Wright was drowned,  the others were rescued.

Mr William Johnson,  who had been on the staff of the General Manager of Railways since 1895,  died at his res. on Saturday.  ---- leaves a widow.  
His parents reside at Leeston, Canterbury.

RAMSAY  - J.P.  of Masterton ----  divorce from his wife on grounds of desertion.
COLLIER  -  James of Wellington  ----   against his wife Jessie ---  on similar grounds.

Dr Stanley BATCHELOR  married -----   to Miss Florence BUTTERWORTH.  the bride was given away by her brother-in-law Dr Lindo Ferguson

---  Mr H.J.Matthews,  State Forrester,  Mr Alexander Bathgate,  solicitor,  Mr George Fenwick,  managing director and editor of Otago Daily Times.

F. Middleton,  and Angus McCabe  were killed in the Crown Mine,  Karangahake -----  another man named McSHEEN  had his arm and shoulder injured.  
The deceased men were unmarried.

William Edgar,  James Roil  and Donald Calder  together with 3 others  P.Petley,  J. Kirk  and Leslie Roil  (age 12)  were anchored in a yacht
 near Pitas Island  -------James Roil,  Edgar and Calder ----  were drowned   --  
Roil was a married man was a blacksmith,  he leaves a wife and 4 children,   
Calder who lost an arm some years ago was an accountant,  he leaves a wife and 5 young children,  
Edgar was a miner,  aged 60.  He leaves a wife and a grown up son and daughter.

GILL  -  Harold Gill became entangled in the machinery at a flax mill at Blind River ----   he died in the hospital this morning.

WILLIAMSON  -  Robert,  manager of the Undaunted Goldmine,  Nevis,  was killed by a fall of earth.  he was aged 40  and was unmarried.
