Within the last 3 years the deaths of 5 medical men residing in Lyttelton,  have been recorded
                         in these columns. Of these Drs Donald  and Motley  had ceased to practise and were both  well advanced in years;  but Drs Rouse,  Macdonald  and Chapman 
                                -  men in the prime of life -  were cut off in the middle of a useful career,  in one case by accident,  in the others by sudden and short illness.

   Walter Prince,  electrician,  was mounting a horse at Queenstown -----  animal bolted  ----  skull is fractured,  no hopes of his recovery.
