The Regina,  Thornton, from London 19 July for Otago and Canterbury  arrived this afternoon, she has the following passengers for Canterbury -
Mrs I.T.Cookson;  Miss A.N.Scott;  Major E. Croker, wife and child;   Wm Rolleston;  G.Harper;  C. Newton and wife;  Frederick Beart,  Robt. Laurie,
wife and 4 children;  and about 20 immediate passengers.  No casualties occurred on the voyage.

Shipping  snippets - 
The Indiana  sailed on 6 August for Canterbury  with 250 assisted emigrants and a large party of passengers ------the Zealandia having sailed from Gravesend on
14 July with 300 emigrants -- The Clontarf will take out a further party -- in September ----
