Funeral -  
PETER  -  Ernest Peter,  took place yesterday at the Mt. Somers Cemetery.  A special train from Ashburton took up a large number of mourners, some of them                                         from long distances, and almost every family in the district  was represented
CRESSWELL  -  I.O.G.T. members attend Bro. Cresswell's funeral Sunday afternoon at half past two, leaving his late res. Madras St. North.
